Counseling Services

Counseling services are conducted at our office, centrally located just south of Hwy 59 and the Galleria area at 5909 West Loop South. This location allows convenient access from many areas of Houston. We have free covered parking, are wheelchair accessible, and offer evening hours.

In line with the industry standards, a private therapy session lasts 45-50 minutes.

Insurance / Benefits Coverage & Other Payment Options

I do accept a very select group of insurance plans: Aetna, United, APS, Value Options, Cigna, Texas Childrens Health Plan (TCHP), LifeSync / Humana, MHN (Mental Health Network), TriCare, Blue Cross / Blue Shield, and Traditional (only) Medicaid.

For those I do not accept: I can work with you under your out-of-network benefits and will be happy to provide you with a receipt that you may use for reimbursement as is allowed under your benefits.

Please also note that if you are using an accepted insurance benefit you will need to call your insurance and secure a pre-authorization, as may be required, before your first visit.

In very special situations, where a client does not have or wish to use their insurance benefits, I am able to offer a slightly reduced rate for a limited number of sessions.

Please call me before your first appointment to confirm that I currently accept your insurance and to discuss your payment options.

Payment is due a the time of services. Payment options include; cash, personal check*, cashier's check / money order.

*Please note that there are penalty fees for returned checks and compensation following a returned check cannot be made with a another check.

***All forms listed under “New Clients” can be completed, printed, and brought with you to your first session in order to expedite the necessary paper work.
